My name is Mehran Ullah from Swabi, I have completed my bachelor degree in 2016 and conducted a research trial on the population trend and percent parasitism of citrus leafminer in different citrus varieties during 2016. I got a CGPA of 3.77 with first position in department of plant protection as well as faculty of crop protection sciences, The University of Agriculture, Peshawar. I have completed my master’s degree in 2019 and conducted a research experiment on the use of different botanicals against insect pest of brinjal crop and their natural enemies. I used plant extracts against these pests because pesticides caused several problems such as skin diseases, toxicity against non-target insects and expensive for the farmers etc. I got a CGPA of 3.83 with a gold medal in the department of plant protection as well as faculty of faculty crop protection sciences, The University of Agriculture, Peshawar. I also worked as an internee for one year to study the weeds and its effect on the maize crop and how to manage these problems with different techniques as well as work with agriculture extension department kpk on the locust management program as an entomologist.
