- Conduct day to day research operations
- Development and seed multiplication of high yielding elite cultivars
- Sowing and harvesting of research experiments
- Establishment and maintenance of production blocks of corn with
proper isolation - Maintenance of germplasm, attempting new crosses, harvesting,
processing, testing and evaluation of new corn hybrids
