Broad Gear Furniture (Sept 2023 – Present) Position Held: Head of Department, Procurement, Admin & HR Worked closely with the Managing Director to develop the new policies and streamline the operational processes of procurement, stores, admin and human resource department in accordance with the requirements of the organization as per the industry standards. The role includes the lead of procurement department and cater all the procurement requirements across the network. Develop and implement complete procedure for smooth operation of complete P2P cycle, develop strategies for the storage of raw materials and finished products, administratively handling all the operations of the office and factory and fulfilling the human resource requirements for the organization. Key Responsibilities: As a Head of department, developed the new policies and procedures in lieu with the organizations needs and best practices. o Lead the procurement process to ensure they are of the highest quality including preparing specifications, solicitation of documents, managing evaluations, and selection process of tenders. o Lead the team for opening of new branches, ensure all Civil, IT, Furniture etc. requirement are arranged well before time. o Worked closely with the production and marketing department to ensure there requirements are met in time to deliver the orders timely. o Developed and implemented strategies for procurement and stores. o Developed and maintained a complete supply chain system for the network to ensure smooth operations across the network. o Vendor management, includes vendor’s performance evaluation and prequalification of new vendors. o Stores Management; develop strategies safe stacking of all raw materials used in productions as well as the machinery parts. o Supervision of admin department in general. o Supervise all maintenance activities and maintain a regular schedule of maintenance for the factory and showroom operations. o Deliver all admin services in the most efficient manner to facilitate the functions of all departments. o Managing recruitment, onboarding and exit procedures. o Overseeing the payroll function o Maintain an employee and consultant data base as well as HR filling system and provide required data for reports as required.
Noor Care (Private) Limited (May 2021 – Sept 2023) Position Held: Project Manager As a project manager I was responsible for planning, executing and completing the projects, ensuing they were aligned with the organizational goals. Key responsibilities included project scope, managing budgets, procurement management, launching of project, hiring of staff, risk assessments and liaison with healthcare authorities to ensure compliance. Key Responsibilities: As a Head of Procurement department, developed the new policies and procedures in lieu with the organizations needs and best practices. o Met the deadlines of inauguration of treachery care hospital in remote area of Rajanpur, total project cost was 500M+ includes construction, procurement and installation of medical equipment, HVAC, IT infrastructure etc. o Worked closely with other departments to ensure there requirements are met in time. o Lead the launch of Minute clinic’s across Lahore, Multan, Sialkot, Gujranwala, Islamabad and Rawalpindi o Lead the procurement team to ensure all the construction materials, equipment’s for hospitals, medical consumables, IT equipment’s, Furniture etc. are arranged well before the inauguration timelines. o Developed and implemented strategies for procurement and stores. o Developed and maintained a complete supply chain system for the network to ensure smooth operations across the network. o Lead the minute clinic project and dealing with all the relevant government authorities on all levels. o As a project manager, responsible for hiring of staff for minute clinics, And teams for hospital.
• Lahore University of Management Sciences ( LUMS ) (July 2018 - April 2021) Position Held: Manager Procurement As Manager Procurement, responsible for smooth operations of procurement and stores departments, i.e. procurement of goods and services, inventory management, invoice processing and stores management in accordance with the policies / procedures. Lead the procurement team in all major projects during the tenure, some of which includes furnishing of Law School, stock exchange trading lab, NIC Lahore, NIC Quetta, Female Hostel 4 & 5, Male Hostel 6 & 7, etc. with an annual value of Rs 1 billion / year. Key Responsibilities: • Worked closely with PWC to develop new policies and procedures for stores and procurement department. • Vendor Management, which includes sourcing of new vendors, pre-qualification of vendors and vendors evaluations. • Supervising the daily incoming purchase requisites and meeting with the each team member to discuss their day-to-day tasks. • Bought the procurement time for off shelf items to 1-2 days after the receipt of approved PR. • Responsible for order placement timing, supply / demand alignment, material replenishment and supplier performance. • Continuously monitoring, evaluating and improving supplier performance. • Team lead for implementing the ISO 9001 for procurement department. • Ensure that goods are delivered on agreed delivery dates. Key Responsibilities: • Vendor Management. • Supervising the daily incoming purchase requisites and ensuring that RFQ’s are generated on the same day the PR’s are approved from budget. • Ensure that procurement time for off shelf items is 3-5 days after the budget approval. • Responsible for order placement timing, supply / demand alignment, material replenishment and supplier performance. • Continuously monitoring, evaluating and improving supplier performance. • Ensure that goods are delivered on agreed delivery dates.
