About Candidate

I am a straight going person and have expressed myself in most genuine way. I am looking for a positive response from your side to fulfil my passion.

My college days however were not just about earning an internationally reputed degree – it was education in all dimensions. My most rewarding experiences, in fact, were outside of the classroom walls. Though the initial separation from the direct support of my family was challenging, yet, it provided me with an opportunity to discover my capabilities in making and living with my decisions. It made me recognize that survival in a competitive freelance environment depends not only on how well you do, but also on how well you relate to people. Fortunately, I was able to accomplish results and develop lasting working relationships, not only with my friends and instructors, but with people from derelict circumstances through the agriculture private sector  to run my own business i.e. (farm advisory services, farm management etc) on the behalf of my –self  and with the supporting of my friends as well.. My association with such services did not end here; rather it further catapulted me to help those in need. Subsequently, I took up a job as a Teaching Assistant whereby my colleagues and I worked to retain students on academic difficulty through conducting tutorials and peer counseling.
My introduction to the agriculture sector was a coincidence at best. Having only an undergraduate degree in agriculture sciences. My undergraduate education has prepared me well for my chosen career for job and for practical life. Understanding the underlying of a group’s culture is essential to successfully communication with the group. In studying folklore and mythology, I’ve learned how to parse the unspoken structure of folk group, and how those structure can be used to build bridges of understanding. For example, in culture where most illnesses are believed to be caused by witchcraft, as is the cause for the rural people of the backward areas in Punjab Pakistan, any successful health intervention or education program would of necessity take into account their very real belief in witchcraft.  I was academically ill-equipped for my first experience in university as a member of the agrarian society and art club team. The agrarian society and art club used at work eluded me and I had to put considerable efforts into tasks that others performed with complete ease. I soon realized that in order to survive in the fast paced life and with no time to learn the ropes, I had to make a run for it or risk myself being caught behind. With time, what first started out as a struggle to survive slowly took the form of a passion: a desire to understand and to decode whatever complexities my work entailed. After completing my MPhil in agri. extension from the top rank agriculture university i.e. university of agriculture Faisalabad Punjab, Pakistan. I joined a UK aid project as a farmer trainer in Bahawalnagar district Punjab, Pakistan with service provider private group i.e. “Star Metro Group private Lahore, Punjab, Pakistan” with the collaboration of Punjab skill development department, RCON (data collection center) and central economic research Pakistan. Today, I am working not only doing my Ph.D. but also working as a research associate in HEC project as entitled “societal role in conflict resolution among farm families in Punjab, Pakistan”. The project is also account as a research experiences for me. This project is helping me to find out the real and basic needs of the farm families and at ground root level conflicts. In terms of a career, I see myself teaching literature, writing criticism. Doctoral studies would be valuable to me in several ways. First, your teaching assistant ship program would provide me with the practical teaching experience I am eager to acquire. Further, earning a Ph.D. in Agri. Extension to add my skills, both critical and creative. Ultimately, however, I see the Ph.D. as an end in itself, as well as a professional stepping stone; I enjoy studying literature for its own sake and would like to continue my studies on the level demanded by the Ph.D. program.
