Job Details: Accounts / Finance Officer – Karachi
Position Overview
The Accounts / Finance Officer role is a full-time, on-site position based in Karachi, Pakistan. The primary responsibility is to manage tax payments, assist in tax planning, ensure compliance with tax regulations, and handle financial reporting.
The ideal candidate will be experienced in tax-related matters and contribute to the smooth operation of the finance department.
Key Responsibilities
1. Record and prepare liability-related documents timely.
2. Maintain accurate records of tax transactions, including invoices and receipts.
3. Collaborate with finance, legal, and operations teams for smooth tax-related processes.
4. Ensure vendor compliance with FBR and SBR rules.
5. Reconcile vendor ledgers and resolve discrepancies.
6. Adjust outstanding advances and manage liabilities for GST grocery purchases.
7. Deduct taxes in compliance with FBR and SBR regulations.
8. Prepare and submit accurate tax reports.
9. Follow company guidelines on HSE, HACCP, ISO 22000/9001, and OHSAS 18001.
Skills Required
1. Knowledge of FBR and SRB tax portals.
2. Strong understanding of tax laws and financial principles.
3. Proficiency in financial software, ERP systems, and MS Excel.
4. Excellent organizational and communication skills.

Qualifications and Experience
Required Education
Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related fields such as BBA, MBA, ACCA, CMA, or CPA.
Experience
