Job Responsibilities (Duties & Tasks)
As an Accounts Officer at Amber Capacitors Ltd., your main duties will include:
1. Daily Cash Handling & Record Keeping
Managing petty cash and maintaining a daily cash flow sheet.
Preparing cash payment and receipt vouchers and ensuring proper filing.
Recording and organizing financial documents in the store room.
2. Weekly Account Reconciliation
Reconciling key accounts such as:
Purchase Imprest Account
Factory Imprest Account
Factory Building Imprest Account
3. Voucher & Journal Management
Preparing cash vouchers and journal vouchers daily.
Ensuring all financial transactions are properly documented.
4. Additional Tasks
Assisting the Head of Department (HOD) with any assigned tasks.
Maintaining accurate records for audits and financial reviews.
Required Skills & Qualifications
To be successful in this role, you should have:
A BBA or B.COM degree in Accounting or Finance.
Minimum 3 years of relevant experience.
Strong command of accounting software and MS Excel.
Experience in handling customer ledgers.
Good organizational and record-keeping skills.
