Key Responsibilities

As an Admin & Finance Officer, you will manage various administrative and financial functions to support government initiatives. Here’s what the role entails:

Financial Reporting and Planning

  • Prepare accurate and timely financial reports, including cash flow and procurement plans.
  • Maintain transparent records and ensure compliance with regulatory standards.

Designated Drawing and Disbursing Officer (DDO)

  • Act as a DDO, handling and disbursing funds in accordance with PPRA (Public Procurement Regulatory Authority) guidelines and other financial regulations.
  • Oversee cash management and ensure proper disbursement of funds.

Procurement Management

  • Develop and execute procurement plans as per organizational guidelines.
  • Collaborate with stakeholders to ensure efficient and timely procurement for projects.

Relationship Management

  • Build and maintain strong relationships with colleagues and partners to foster a collaborative work environment.
  • Provide support to various departments in financial and administrative tasks, ensuring smooth operations.

Qualifications and Experience

Minimum Education: Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Business Administration, Finance, or a related field.

Experience Required:

  • A minimum of 3-5 years in finance and administration.
  • Prior experience as a DDO is highly preferred.

Skills:

  • Strong administrative and financial skills, with proficiency in financial report preparation.
  • Sound knowledge of PPRA guidelines and other government financial regulations.
  • Ability to work effectively under pressure, meeting deadlines with accuracy.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
