Role Overview: AI/ML Backend Developer

As an AI/ML Backend Developer at One Table, your main responsibility will be to develop and implement machine learning models that drive intelligent chatbot functionality.

You will work closely with the backend team to integrate predictive analytics, anomaly detection, and time series forecasting into the chatbot, making it smarter and more capable of data-driven decision-making.

Key Responsibilities

1. Backend Logic Development: You will build the backend logic that powers the chatbot, ensuring it can handle large amounts of data and provide accurate predictions.

2. Time Series Forecasting: Utilize tools like Prophet, ARIMA, and LSTM to build models that predict future trends based on historical data.

3. Anomaly Detection & Recommendations: Develop algorithms to identify anomalies and provide actionable recommendations to users.

4. OpenAI API Integration: Work with OpenAI’s API and engage in prompt engineering to craft intelligent responses from the chatbot.

5. Collaborating with Backend and DevOps Teams: Work closely with the Node.js backend and DevOps teams to ensure seamless deployment of the chatbot features.

Required Skills

To succeed in this role, you should have experience with the following:

1. Machine Learning & Deep Learning: Proficiency with frameworks like PyTorch and TensorFlow is essential for building advanced models.

2. Time Series Forecasting: Experience in Prophet, ARIMA, and LSTM for building forecasting models.

3. Anomaly Detection & Predictive Modeling: Ability to implement models that detect anomalies and predict future events.

4. OpenAI API & Prompt Engineering: Experience using OpenAI’s API and crafting custom prompts for specific chatbot functions.

5. Python & Flask: Solid experience with Python programming and using Flask for backend development.

6. CI/CD Basics: Knowledge of continuous integration and deployment for smooth software delivery.

7. API Integration: Integrate machine learning models with the Node.js backend for a seamless user experience.

Good to Have Skills

While not required, the following skills are a plus:

1. NLP (Natural Language Processing): Familiarity with sentiment analysis, topic modeling, and other NLP techniques.

2. Microservices & Docker/Kubernetes: Understanding of microservices architecture and containerization with Docker and Kubernetes.

3. Database Management: Knowledge of databases like MongoDB and PostgreSQL.
