Roles and Responsibilities of an Al-Quran Teacher
As an Al-Quran Teacher, you will be responsible for educating students on the Quran’s teachings, including its language, grammar, and interpretation. Here are some of the key duties you’ll undertake:
Teach Quranic Arabic (Lughat/Grammar)

Required Qualifications and Skills
To qualify for the Al-Quran Teacher position, you must meet the following requirements:
Educational Qualifications
- Shahadat-ul-Aalmiya-Fil-Uloomai-Arabia-wal-Islamia: You must hold a complete degree from an HEC-recognized institution or Jamia, along with an HEC equivalence certificate.
- Attested Documents: Your degree(s) and diplomas should be attested by Wafaq Ul Madaris or Tanzim Ul Madaris.
- Additional Qualifications: Preferably, candidates with a Hafiz-e-Quran, M.Ed., or B.Ed. will be given additional consideration.
Skills and Expertise
- Arabic Teaching Skills: Expertise in teaching Quranic Arabic grammar (Lughat) is essential.
- Tajweed-ul-Quran: Knowledge and experience in teaching the rules of Tajweed for correct Quranic recitation.
- Quranic Interpretation: Ability to explain and teach the meaning (Tarjama) of the Quranic verses clearly to students.

Important Notes
All appointments will be on a contract basis. Selected candidates may be transferred or posted to other Center of Excellence Schools in Punjab. No TA/DA will be provided for the written test or interview.
