The Punjab Forest Department, under its GIS-Based Protection Regime and Digital Communication Cell in Forestry, Wildlife, and Fisheries Department, is hiring for the position of Assistant Director Android/iOS Development (PPS-7).

This is a contract-based position designed to support the department’s digital initiatives, focusing on mobile application development to enhance communication, protection, and conservation efforts in forestry, wildlife, and fisheries.

Job Responsibilities and Duties

As an Assistant Director in Android/iOS Development, you will be responsible for:

  • App Development: Create, test, and maintain Android and iOS applications that support digital communication and protection initiatives in forestry, wildlife, and fisheries.
  • User Interface (UI) Design: Develop user-friendly and visually appealing UIs for apps, ensuring compatibility across various devices and screen sizes.
  • Collaborating with GIS Teams: Work closely with GIS and IT teams to integrate spatial data into mobile applications, enhancing forest monitoring and reporting.
  • Innovative Problem Solving: Utilize technical skills in Flutter and React Native to solve unique challenges, ensuring efficient and effective digital communication tools.
