Role Overview: Assistant Manager ERP/Application Coordinator

The Assistant Manager ERP/Application Coordinator will play an essential role in managing and maintaining the institution’s Campus Management Systems (CMS) and Learning Management Systems (LMS).

You will be responsible for ensuring these systems are secure, stable, and performing optimally for the entire NUST community.

Key Responsibilities

1. Managing User Accounts: Oversee user accounts, permissions, and access levels within the CMS and LMS, ensuring proper access control.

2. System Security and Maintenance: Regularly perform maintenance and updates to ensure system security, stability, and performance.

3. Providing User Support: Offer ongoing support to users, addressing inquiries, troubleshooting issues, and providing solutions promptly.

4. Training and Documentation: Develop training sessions, user guides, and tutorials to facilitate user adoption and self-service.

5. Integrating Third-party Tools: Enhance system functionality by integrating third-party tools and technologies with the CMS/LMS.

6. System Customization: Customize the CMS/LMS platform to meet specific organizational needs such as branding, workflows, and reporting.

7. Ensuring Seamless Integration: Ensure smooth integration and interoperability between the CMS/LMS and other systems within the organization.

Required Skills

To be successful in this role, candidates must have the following skills:

1. Proficiency with CMS Platforms: Experience with platforms such as WordPress, Drupal, Joomla, or similar platforms.

2. Familiarity with LMS Platforms: Knowledge of platforms like Moodle, Canvas, Blackboard, or similar educational platforms.

3. Data Privacy Knowledge: A solid understanding of data privacy regulations (e.g., GDPR) and best practices for managing user data within CMS/LMS environments.

Qualifications and Experience

The ideal candidate should have the following qualifications and experience:

1. Essential Qualification: A BS in Computer Science, Information Technology, Computer Engineering, or Software Engineering from an HEC recognized institution with at least 5 years of relevant experience OR a Master of Science (MS) in the same fields with at least 3 years of relevant experience.

2. Desirable Qualification: A BS degree from an HEC recognized institution with 8 years of relevant experience in a similar role.
