Job Responsibilities
As an Assistant Manager Fashion Designer, you will play a key role in the design process, working closely with the lead designer and other teams. Your main duties will include:
Design & Development
1. Managing the design process from initial concept to final styling.
2. Creating sketches, mood boards, and color schemes for new collections.
3. Selecting fabrics, trims, and materials that align with the brand’s vision.
4. Developing detailed tech packs for production teams.
Market Research & Trend Analysis
1. Conducting market research to identify the latest fashion trends.
2. Studying competitor brands and forecasting upcoming styles.
3. Ensuring designs meet business goals and customer preferences.
Collaboration & Quality Control
1. Working with technical designers to ensure accurate production.
2. Reviewing samples for style, fit, and quality before approval.
3. Presenting design ideas to the lead designer for feedback.
Required Qualifications & Skills
To be eligible for this role, you should have:
Education & Experience
1. A degree from a reputable fashion institute in Pakistan.
2. At least 2 years of experience in fashion design (experience with well-known design houses is a plus).
