Job Responsibilities of an Assistant Manager HR
1. HR Policy Development & Implementation
Assist in creating, updating, and enforcing HR policies.
Ensure compliance with labor laws and company regulations.
Develop employee guidelines to maintain a professional work culture.
2. Recruitment & Employee Onboarding
Manage the end-to-end recruitment process, from job postings to final hiring.
Conduct interviews, background checks, and reference verifications.
Organize employee orientation and onboarding programs.
3. Employee Records & Compliance
Maintain and update employee databases and personal records.
Ensure compliance with local labor laws and company policies.
Handle employee grievances and provide conflict resolution support.
4. Payroll, Attendance & Benefits Administration
Supervise payroll processing and ensure timely salary disbursement.
Monitor attendance records and leave management systems.
Manage employee benefits, including health insurance and incentives.
5. Performance Management & Training Programs
Conduct performance appraisals and provide feedback to employees.
Identify training needs and organize professional development programs.
Promote a culture of continuous learning and career growth.
6. Employee Relations & Workplace Environment
Address employee concerns and foster a positive and inclusive workplace.
Encourage team collaboration and professional behavior.
Support management in resolving workplace disputes and conflicts.
7. HR Reporting & Analytics
Prepare HR reports and analytics for management.
Monitor workforce trends and suggest improvements for better efficiency.
Skills Required for the Role
Knowledge of ERP Systems – Experience with HR management software and ERP solutions.
Technical Recruitment Skills – Ability to source, evaluate, and hire top talent.
Strong Communication Skills – Excellent verbal and written communication for effective employee interactions.
