Key Responsibilities of Assistant Manager Internal Audit

As an Assistant Manager in Internal Audit at PSEB, you will play a vital role in ensuring that the organization’s operations and financial practices comply with the necessary standards. Your primary responsibilities will include:

Serve as the primary point of contact for any internal audit-related inquiries.

Qualifications and Skills Required

To qualify for the Assistant Manager Internal Audit position, you must meet the following requirements:

Educational Qualifications

A minimum of 16 years of education in Accounting, Finance, or a related discipline.

Alternatively, CA (Inter) or CAF with at least five years of post-qualification experience, including articles.

Experience

At least 5 years of relevant post-qualification experience in internal audit, external audit, risk management, or compliance.

Preference will be given to candidates with experience in public sector organizations, state-owned enterprises, or reputable multinational companies.

Essential Skills

Expertise in developing internal audit plans and test plans.

Strong understanding of internal auditing standards, internal controls, and risk management.

Ability to communicate audit results and recommendations effectively.

Proficiency in audit software and tools.

Professional certifications such as CIA, CPA, or equivalent will be an added advantage.
