About the Role: Assistant Manager Legal
The Assistant Manager Legal will be responsible for supporting the Legal Department in ensuring Ignite’s compliance with corporate laws, intellectual property regulations, and other legal frameworks relevant to the ICT sector.
The role involves diverse responsibilities, including drafting contracts, managing legal records, and providing expert legal advice.
Key Responsibilities
1. Offer legal advice to protect the organization’s interests and ensure compliance with laws.
2. Conduct research on international ICT-related laws and legal trends.
3. Draft, review, and manage contracts while maintaining a contract repository.
4. Provide expert opinions on intellectual property rights (IPR) and related matters.
5. Analyze and suggest improvements to Pakistan’s ICT legal framework.
6. Support the Manager Legal in day-to-day operations.
7. Review and maintain records of legal documentation.
Job Details
Qualifications Required
1. Degree: LLB or LLM from an HEC-recognized university.
2. Experience: 3 to 5 years of relevant professional experience in the legal domain.
Skills Needed
1. Proficiency in corporate law, including the Companies Act and SECP regulations.
2. Expertise in drafting and reviewing contracts.
3. Knowledge of Intellectual Property Rights (IPR).
4. Familiarity with dispute resolution mechanisms.
5. Analytical thinking and the ability to provide practical legal solutions.
Job Type and Duration
