Key Responsibilities

1. Network Performance Maintenance: Analyze and tune network performance to ensure smooth operation. Troubleshoot and resolve network issues, escalating when necessary.

2. Network Equipment Management: Deploy, manage, and maintain key network equipment such as routers, firewalls, switches, and access points.

3. Link Availability: Ensure uninterrupted communication links between the head office, DR sites, APS, and branches.

4. Security Implementation: Develop VPNs, control network access, evaluate risks, and maintain security documentation to secure the network.

5. Vendor Coordination: Work with vendors and service providers to restore, deploy, and shift communication links as needed.

6. Connectivity Troubleshooting: Identify, troubleshoot, and resolve connectivity and performance issues while maintaining thorough documentation.

7. Third-Party Connectivity: Design and implement third-party connectivity solutions.

8. Information Security: Implement and enforce information security policies and procedures to safeguard the network.

9. Network Documentation: Maintain proper network policies, procedures, and network diagrams, ensuring accurate documentation for future reference.

10. Configuration Backup: Regularly back up configurations for all network devices to prevent data loss.

Requirements

1. Experience: Minimum of 5 years in Network Administration or Network Security, with a strong focus on performance management and access points.

2. Skills: Proven experience with network troubleshooting, VPNs, firewalls, and network performance tuning.

3. Qualifications: A relevant degree in network administration or a similar field is preferable.
