Responsibilities

As an Associate Professor in Paediatric Plastic Surgery, the successful candidate will be expected to:

  • Teach medical students and residents about paediatric plastic surgery.
  • Conduct clinical practice in a hospital setting, providing care for children with plastic surgery needs.
  • Engage in research, contributing to the medical field through the publication of research papers in recognized journals.

Qualifications

To be eligible for this position, candidates must have:

  • MBBS or equivalent qualification recognized by the Pakistan Medical & Dental Council (PMDC).
  • A postgraduate qualification such as FCPS, MS, FRCS, or equivalent in Plastic Surgery recognized by PMDC.
  • A minimum of five years of teaching experience as an Assistant Professor in Paediatric Plastic Surgery from a PMDC-recognized institution.
  • At least three published research papers in standard medical journals recognized by PMDC or the Higher Education Commission.

Experience Requirements

Experience in government roles, such as contracts or acting charges, will be considered, provided it is certified by the appointing authority. Experience from recognized foreign or private institutions will be accepted if verified by PMDC.
