As a BI Data Modeler Architect, your work will be crucial in supporting PSW’s business intelligence systems, ensuring they are optimized for performance, scalability, and accuracy.

Role Overview:

The BI Data Modeler Architect will design, develop, and maintain various data models to integrate and manage PSW’s Business Intelligence (BI) systems. This position plays an essential role in bridging the gap between data, business needs, and technology.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Design and Maintain Data Models: Develop conceptual, logical, and physical data models to integrate PSW’s data into BI platforms.

2. Collaborate with Stakeholders: Work with business stakeholders to transform their needs into efficient data models.

3. Ensure Data Quality: Implement standards to ensure the consistency, accuracy, and quality of data used in BI and analytics systems.

4. Optimize Data Models for BI Tools: Work with Oracle Analytics Server, Power BI, Tableau, and other reporting tools to ensure data models are optimized for performance.

5. ETL Pipeline Design: Collaborate with data engineers to define ETL processes, ensuring smooth data integration into BI systems.

6. Troubleshoot Performance Issues: Monitor and resolve any issues that may arise in data models to improve performance.

7. Documentation: Maintain clear documentation of data models, their relationships, and definitions.

Qualifications & Skills:

1. Experience: Minimum 9 years of experience in data modeling, BI, or data warehousing.

2. Degree: Bachelor’s in Computer Science, Information Systems, Data Analytics, or a related field.

3. Skills:

– Expertise in SQL for querying and data manipulation.

– Experience with BI tools like Power BI, Tableau, Oracle Analytics Server.

– Strong knowledge of database technologies such as Oracle, SQL Server, PostgreSQL.

– Familiarity with data modeling tools (e.g., Erwin, SQL Developer Data Modeler, Toad Data Modeler).

– Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
