Role Overview: Budget and Accounts Officer

The Budget and Accounts Officer will be responsible for overseeing the budgeting and accounting functions of TransPeshawar, ensuring that financial affairs are handled professionally and transparently.

Reporting directly to the Chief Financial Officer (CFO), this role requires a proactive and detail-oriented individual to support the organization’s financial planning and record-keeping processes.

Key Responsibilities

  • Budgeting: Prepare and manage the annual budget for TransPeshawar, ensuring that resources are allocated efficiently and in accordance with the organization’s goals.
  • Accounting: Handle day-to-day accounting tasks, including maintaining accurate financial records, processing transactions, and ensuring that accounts are up-to-date.

Qualifications and Experience

  • Minimum Qualification: A 16-year degree in Commerce, Finance, Business Administration, Accounting, or ACCA/CA Inter from a recognized university.

Experience Requirements

  • Relevant Experience: A minimum of 3 years of post-qualification experience in financial matters, particularly within the government, public sector, or reputable private organizations.
