Pakistan Software Export Board (PSEB) is looking for a Chief Industry Development Officer to strengthen the IT and ITeS sector in Pakistan.

Job Responsibilities
IT & ITeS Sector Growth
1. Facilitating the development of the Information Technology (IT) and IT-enabled Services (ITeS) industry.
2. Engaging with public and private stakeholders to drive sector-wide improvements.
Skills Development & Capacity Building
3. Planning, developing, and executing IT & ITeS skills development and capacity-building programs.
4. Creating training programs to enhance the workforce’s technical and managerial skills.
Industry-Academia Linkages
5. Building strong connections between universities and the IT industry.
6. Encouraging research and development collaborations for industry growth.
Infrastructure & Ease of Doing Business
7. Leading projects to develop IT Parks, Software Technology Parks, BPO Centers, and Excellence Centers.
8. Managing regulatory affairs, taxation issues, and cost reduction strategies for the industry.
9. Ensuring smooth registration of IT & ITeS companies, call centers, and freelancers under PSEB.
Project & Leadership Management
10. Managing large-scale projects related to IT infrastructure and development.
11. Leading initiatives to enhance the competitiveness of Pakistan’s IT industry.
12. Providing strategic guidance and support to the CEO and PSEB Board of Directors.

Who Can Apply?
Eligibility Criteria
16. Education: Minimum 16 years of education in Engineering, Computer Science, or Management disciplines from an HEC-recognized university. A higher degree in Management, Business Administration, or Finance is preferred. PMP certification is an advantage.
17. Experience: At least 15 years of post-qualification experience in relevant fields, including:
18. Handling skills development programs
19. Managing infrastructure projects and regulatory affairs
20. Addressing taxation and business cost issues
21. Building industry-academia partnerships
22. At least 5 years of project management experience
23. At least 3 years in a leadership role, preferably in a technology-driven organization
24. Age Limit: Maximum 55 years.
