Required Qualifications and Experience
Education
A Master’s or Bachelor’s (Hons) degree (16 years of education) in Digital Media, Media Studies, Communication Studies, Mass Communication, English, or another relevant field from an HEC-recognized institution.
Experience
A minimum of 3 years of experience in a content moderation role within a public or private organization is required.
Preferred Background
Ideal candidates will have studied English Literature, Mass Communication, Media Studies, or English.
Key Responsibilities of a Content Moderator
As a content moderator, you will play an integral role in safeguarding online communities and ensuring that all user-generated content aligns with established guidelines. Your duties will include:
1. Reviewing User-Generated Content
Evaluate various forms of user content, such as text, images, videos, and comments, to confirm they adhere to platform guidelines and community standards.
2. Enforcing Social Media Policies
Apply moderation policies fairly and consistently across platforms, ensuring community guidelines are upheld.
3. Providing Feedback to Users
Offer constructive feedback to users whose content may require modification or removal, fostering positive interactions and awareness.
4. Staying Informed of Emerging Social Media Trends
Keep up-to-date with evolving trends, policy updates, and emerging issues to ensure efficient and relevant moderation practices.
5. Record-Keeping and Reporting

6. Outreach for Responsible Usage
