Job Description

The National Database and Registration Authority (NADRA) is seeking a Contract Procurement Consultant to join its team in Islamabad. Job Responsibilities

As a Contract Procurement Consultant, the selected candidate will play a crucial role in NADRA’s procurement operations. The main duties include:

  • Developing Procurement Strategies: Formulating effective procurement strategies that align with NADRA’s objectives and regulations.
  • Managing Procurement Processes: Overseeing the entire procurement process, from planning to execution, ensuring compliance with relevant regulations.
  • Collaborating with Departments: Working closely with various departments to understand their procurement needs and provide support.
  • Ensuring Transparency: Promoting transparency and accountability in procurement activities to uphold the integrity of the government’s operations.
  • Monitoring Supplier Performance: Evaluating and monitoring supplier performance to ensure quality and value for money.

Qualifications and Experience

To qualify for this role, candidates must meet the following criteria:

  • Education: A bachelor’s degree (4-year degree) in Supply Chain Management (SCM) or a related field from a Higher Education Commission (HEC) recognized university. A master’s degree is preferred.
  • Experience: A minimum of 10 years of post-qualification experience in Procurement Management is essential.
  • Foreign Degree Equivalence: Candidates with foreign qualifications must provide equivalence from HEC.
  • Skills:
    • Proficiency in MS Office applications, including Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook, and Project.
    • Familiarity with STEP (Systematic Tracking of Exchanges in Procurement) and World Bank Procurement Regulations.
    • Preference will be given to candidates with relevant experience.
