Job Description
The Counter Terrorism Department (CTD) of Punjab Police is seeking qualified and experienced individuals for the position of Criminologist. This position offers a unique opportunity to contribute to the safety and security of Punjab by applying criminological expertise in a law enforcement setting.

Requirements
To be eligible for the Criminologist position, candidates must possess one of the following qualifications:
M.Sc. or MS (Second Division) in Criminology from a recognized university or institute in one or more of the following subjects:
- Comparative Criminology
- Crime Statistics
- Criminal Behavior
- Deviant Behavior
- Evaluation of Criminal Justice Agencies
- Victimology
Additionally, candidates should have at least two years of experience in the relevant field, which could be in a public or private organization. Note that only practical experience acquired after the prescribed qualification will be considered, and experience in private entities will only be accepted if such entities are registered with SECP, Registrar of Firms, or any other Regulatory Authority.
Examination and Syllabus
Candidates will undergo a written examination comprising a 100-mark MCQ test with a duration of 90 minutes. The syllabus includes:
- Qualification-related questions (80%): These questions will focus on your expertise in criminology and related subjects.
- General ability (20%): This section will test knowledge in General Knowledge, Pakistan Studies, Current Affairs, Geography, English, Urdu, Basic Mathematics, Everyday Science, and Basic Computer Studies.

- No general age relaxation is applicable for this position.

Role and Responsibilities of a Criminologist in the CTD
