Job Overview
The Data Governance Consultant position is a contract-based role under the Digital Economy Enhancement Project (DEEP). The contract duration is set for 12 months, with the possibility of extension based on project requirements.
As a Data Governance Consultant, your primary focus will be to design and implement effective data governance frameworks, ensuring data quality, privacy, and compliance with relevant regulations.

Key Responsibilities
As a Data Governance Consultant, your role will include:
1. Designing Data Governance Frameworks: You will be responsible for developing comprehensive data governance frameworks that ensure the integrity, security, and privacy of data across various systems.
2. Data Quality Management: Implementing data quality standards and ensuring data meets specific quality benchmarks.
3. Compliance with Data Privacy Laws: You’ll ensure compliance with international and local data privacy laws, including GDPR, and assist with cross-border data sharing protocols.
4. Project Management: Overseeing large-scale data governance projects, collaborating with both technical and non-technical stakeholders, and managing resources effectively.

Required Qualifications
To be eligible for the role of Data Governance Consultant, you must meet the following requirements:
Educational Qualifications
1. A minimum of 16 years of education in Computer Science, Information Technology, Data Science, or a related field from a reputable or HEC-recognized university.
Experience
2. 15 years of professional work experience in data governance, data management, or data architecture. Prior experience in government projects or large-scale digital transformation initiatives will be a plus.
Skills Required
3. Proficiency in designing and implementing data governance frameworks and data privacy policies.
4. Knowledge of tools and technologies for metadata management, data quality management, and data catalogs.
5. Familiarity with data governance regulations, such as GDPR, and local data privacy laws.
6. Strong project management skills and experience in large-scale IT or data governance projects.
7. Excellent communication skills to interact with diverse stakeholders.
