Role and Responsibilities
The Deputy Director Health Sciences will play a key role in managing and supervising administrative tasks within the Health Sciences Department at Bahria University. The responsibilities include:
1. Academic and Administrative Coordination
The selected candidate will be responsible for coordinating health sciences programs, ensuring academic policies are followed, and supporting faculty and students in delivering quality education.
2. Policy Development and Compliance
Ensure all departmental operations are in line with university regulations and Pakistan Medical and Dental Council (PMDC) standards.
3. Strategic Planning
Assist in the strategic planning and development of health sciences programs. This includes curriculum enhancement, research support, and maintaining academic excellence.
4. Liaison with Medical Units
Work closely with medical units, especially in a military medical context, to foster collaboration and professional growth in line with the university’s objectives.

Who Can Apply?
The position is ideal for candidates who meet the following criteria:
1. Education
MBBS / BDS or equivalent degree recognized by PM&DC. Candidates must also have a Master’s degree in a subject related to Health Sciences from an HEC recognized university.
2. Experience
Minimum 08 years of experience in university administration or in a military medical unit.
3. Preferred Background
Applications are encouraged from both civilian doctors and retired officers of Commander rank or equivalent.
