Are you an experienced professional in electrical engineering looking for a challenging role in the cement manufacturing industry?

Maple Leaf Cement, a subsidiary of Kohinoor Textile Mills Limited, is seeking a dedicated Deputy Manager – PLC to join their Electrical Department at their plant site in Iskanderabad, District Mianwali, Punjab. This is a full-time position ideal for candidates with a robust background in PLC systems and automation.

Key Responsibilities:

  • PLC Programming and Maintenance: Develop, test, and implement PLC programs using languages like Ladder Logic, Function Block Diagram (FBD), and Structured Text (ST). Ensure optimal performance of PLC systems.
  • HMI/SCADA Systems Management: Oversee the operation and integration of Human-Machine Interface (HMI) and Supervisory Control and Data Acquisition (SCADA) systems to ensure smooth plant operations.
  • System Troubleshooting: Diagnose and resolve complex issues in control systems, including PLC and DCS platforms from Siemens, Allen-Bradley, and Schneider Electric.
  • Electrical Diagrams Interpretation: Read and interpret electrical diagrams and schematics to troubleshoot and repair equipment efficiently.
  • Collaboration and Reporting: Work closely with the electrical team to ensure system reliability and report on system performance and any issues that arise.

Required Qualifications:

  • Educational Background: Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Electrical or Electronics Engineering.
  • Experience: Minimum of 5 years of hands-on experience in the cement industry or a relevant field, including expertise in various PLC and DCS platforms.
  • Skills:
    • Proficiency in PLC programming languages (Ladder Logic, FBD, ST).
    • Experience with HMI and SCADA systems.
    • Strong troubleshooting abilities for complex electrical and control systems.
    • Ability to read and interpret electrical diagrams and schematics.
