Job Role: Digital Documentation Specialist
As a Digital Documentation Specialist, your main role will be to create high-quality digital records of historical sites. Your work will support preservation, restoration, and academic research. This position is based in Lahore.
Key Responsibilities
1. Use 3D scanning tools to create detailed models of heritage sites and objects.
2. Conduct photogrammetric documentation of archaeological locations.
3. Manage and analyze data using GIS (Geographic Information Systems).
4. Coordinate with field teams and researchers to ensure accurate data collection.
5. Maintain digital records and ensure proper data storage.
6. Prepare visual reports and documentation for use in heritage planning and restoration.
Required Qualifications and Experience
Education
1. Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Digital Media, or a related field from an HEC-recognized university.
2. Advanced training or certification in 3D scanning, GIS, or digital documentation is a plus.
Experience
1. Minimum 5 years of relevant experience.
2. At least 3 years of hands-on work in 3D scanning, GIS, or photogrammetric techniques.
3. Preference will be given to candidates who have worked on heritage sites or archaeological projects.
