Job Overview: Digital Strategy Consultant

The role of the Digital Strategy Consultant is to provide high-level advisory services for developing and implementing digital strategies within the public sector.

The consultant will be responsible for advising the Ministry on the formulation of digital strategies, guiding digital initiatives, and managing large ICT projects. If you have a passion for public sector innovation and experience in ICT, this could be the perfect job for you!

Job Responsibilities

As a Digital Strategy Consultant, your key duties will include:

Qualifications & Experience Required

To apply for the Digital Strategy Consultant role, you must meet the following qualifications and experience:

  1. Education: Minimum 16 years of education in an ICT-related discipline, such as Information Technology, Computer Science, Engineering, or Engineering Management from an HEC recognized university.
  2. Experience: At least 10 years of experience in the ICT domain, with proven expertise in:
    • Public policy formulation
    • Development of digital strategies
    • Senior-level ICT project management
  3. Skills:
    • In-depth knowledge of digital transformation strategies and implementation
    • Familiarity with national digital initiatives like Digital Pakistan
    • Strong leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills
    • Ability to work independently and advise senior management
    • Experience in policy and regulatory framework development for digital projects

Key Benefits & Remuneration

Contract Duration: 36 months

Location: Islamabad, Pakistan

Age Limit: Applicants must be under 70 years of age

Remuneration: Based on the World Bank guidelines applicable to individual consultants for this position, travel expenses covered
