Position Overview
Job Title: Doctor – Blood Transfusion Officer

Experience Required: 3-5 years (preference for blood banking experience)
Qualification: MBBS with valid PMDC registration

Key Responsibilities
As a Blood Transfusion Officer, you will play a vital role in ensuring the safety and efficacy of blood transfusion services. Your responsibilities will include:
1. Donor Screening: Taking donor history and performing physical examinations to ensure donor eligibility.
2. Counseling: Conducting post-draw counseling sessions for TTI (Transfusion Transmissible Infections) reactive donors.
3. Education and Training: Educating physicians, residents, paramedical staff, and patients about blood product usage, blood group compatibility, and transfusion processes.
4. Hemovigilance: Delivering training sessions to doctors and nurses on hemovigilance issues and participating in incident investigations.
