Job Responsibilities – What Will You Do?
As a Draftsman – Architecture at CFJ Architects, your main duties will include:
Key Duties
1. Preparing detailed architectural drawings using AutoCAD and other design software.
2. Coordinating with architects and designers to understand project requirements.
3. Ensuring accuracy in technical drawings and project documentation.
4. Creating 3D models and renderings using software like SketchUp, Lumion, or similar tools.
5. Assisting in design development by providing technical support.
6. Reviewing and revising drawings based on feedback from senior architects.
7. Maintaining organized project files for easy access and updates.
Required Skills & Qualifications
To be considered for this role, you should have:
Essential Skills
1. Proficiency in AutoCAD (must-have for drafting).
2. Strong knowledge of SketchUp for 3D modeling.
3. Experience with 3D rendering software (Lumion, V-Ray, etc.).
4. Basic skills in Adobe Photoshop for editing and presentations.
5. Familiarity with MS Office (Word, Excel) for documentation.
6. Ability to work in a team and follow project guidelines.
Educational & Experience Requirements
1. Diploma in Architecture Technology or a related field.
2. Minimum 3 years of experience in architectural drafting.
3. A strong portfolio showcasing previous work will be a plus.
