Job Responsibilities
Key Accountabilities
1. Designing of schemes
2. Preparation of BOQs, payment documents, and reports
3. Record keeping and data management
4. Analytical problem-solving and innovative thinking
5. Effective communication and stakeholder management
6. Adhering to policies and procedures
Main Duties
1. Conduct technical assessments of water supply and sanitation schemes for current and upcoming projects.
2. Perform technical and feasibility studies, including site investigations.
3. Develop and execute designs, prepare BOQs, and ensure timely documentation of payments.
4. Maintain quality standards during project implementation by measuring and recording quantities in Measurement Books.
5. Create AutoCAD drawings and develop detailed specifications for projects.
6. Assess sustainability and environmental impacts of ongoing schemes.
7. Ensure compliance with legal requirements for all projects.
8. Schedule and coordinate the purchase and delivery of materials and equipment.
9. Offer technical solutions for infrastructure, including latrine construction, hand pump installation, and water supply systems.
10. Provide technical training and operational guidance to schools and communities.
11. Collaborate with contractors and social mobilizers for smooth project execution.
12. Regularly update the line manager about the progress of all projects.
