Domicile: All Punjab-based candidates can apply

Age Limit

Male: 20 to 28 years + 5 years relaxation (Total: 33 years)

Female: 20 to 28 years + 8 years relaxation (Total: 36 years)

Transgender: Age and gender will be based on CNIC details.

Eligibility Criteria

Educational Qualification

Candidates must have one of the following degrees from a Higher Education Commission (HEC) recognized university:

1. Master’s Degree (Second Division) in: Archaeology, Museology, Anthropology, History, Geography, Sociology

2. Master’s Degree (Second Division) in Classical Languages (Persian, Arabic, Sanskrit, Hebrew, Greek, Latin, Aramaic) with a postgraduate diploma in Archaeology or Museology.

3. Bachelor’s Degree (Second Division) in Architecture, preferably in Planning & Urban Development, or Civil Engineering and Technology.

Job Responsibilities of a Field Officer

1. Conducting field surveys and excavations to uncover historical artifacts.

2. Monitoring and preserving heritage sites and museums.

3. Assisting in the development of tourism projects related to archaeology and cultural heritage.

4. Preparing reports on historical findings and restoration activities.

5. Collaborating with researchers, architects, and engineers to restore historical sites.

6. Spreading awareness about historical preservation among local communities.
