Key Responsibilities of a General Manager Finance
As the General Manager Finance, the selected candidate will be responsible for the following duties:
- Financial Reporting & Analysis: Preparing and analyzing the company’s financial statements and reports, including balance sheets, income statements, and cash flow statements.
- Budgeting & Forecasting: Leading the budgeting process, setting financial targets, and ensuring financial forecasts are accurate and realistic.
- Provident Fund Management: Overseeing the management and allocation of provident funds, ensuring compliance with regulations and company policies.
- Team Management: Managing the finance team, providing leadership, guidance, and development opportunities to team members.
- Financial Strategy & Planning: Developing and implementing financial strategies to support the company’s growth and long-term objectives.
- ERP & Financial Software Proficiency: Utilizing financial software and ERP systems to streamline operations and ensure efficient financial management.
- Collaboration with Other Departments: Working closely with other departments to ensure financial goals are aligned with the overall business strategy.
Skills and Qualifications

- Education: A Master’s degree in Business Administration (MBA) with a focus on Finance, or ACCA certification.
- Experience: At least 15 years of experience in a senior finance role, with a strong understanding of financial management and strategic planning.
- Technical Skills: Expertise in financial reporting, budgeting, and financial software/ERP systems.
- Leadership: Strong leadership and team-building skills, with a proven track record of managing and motivating teams.
