To strengthen its operations, SWMC is looking to hire a General Manager Monitoring (M-4) who will oversee monitoring, operations, and evaluation to enhance the company’s performance.
This is a senior-level position, and the selected candidate will be responsible for ensuring compliance with environmental regulations, monitoring operational efficiency, and implementing strategies for better waste management.
Job Responsibilities of a General Manager Monitoring
1. Monitoring and Evaluation
Overseeing and evaluating waste management operations in Sargodha.
Ensuring compliance with environmental laws and policies.
Conducting performance tracking using Key Performance Indicators (KPIs).
Identifying areas of improvement and suggesting policy changes.
2. Waste Management Operations
Supervising waste collection, transportation, and disposal operations.
Implementing strategies for effective waste recycling and reduction.
Ensuring public health and environmental safety through waste management.
Coordinating with municipal authorities for smooth waste disposal.
3. Regulatory Compliance and Reporting
Conducting audits and inspections to maintain environmental standards.
Preparing reports on waste management performance and submitting them to higher authorities.
Managing contracts with waste disposal companies and third-party service providers.
Keeping track of environmental impact assessments and implementing necessary changes.
4. Leadership and Team Management
Leading the monitoring team and ensuring their efficiency.
Conducting training programs for waste management staff.
Collaborating with other departments to enhance overall waste management efficiency.

Eligibility Criteria
Age Limit: 40-50 years
Experience Required:
At least 10 years of experience.
5 years in Operations, Management, or Monitoring & Evaluation in a senior position.
3 years in the same role in a well-established public or private organization.
Educational Qualification
Minimum 16 years of education in:
Environmental Science
Environmental Engineering
Environmental Management
Civil Engineering
Urban Planning
Business Administration
Degree must be from an HEC-recognized university.
Foreign qualifications recognized by HEC will be preferred.
