Key Responsibilities of the HR & Finance Assistant

Human Resources Management

1. Maintain up-to-date and accurate employee records (both physical and digital).

2. Assist in recruitment, including posting job ads, organizing interviews, and conducting reference checks.

3. Support in preparing job contracts and employee onboarding.

4. Ensure timely updates of benefits such as EOBI, health, and life insurance.

5. Process payroll, leave management, and overtime calculations.

Financial Management

1. Oversee budget follow-ups, expense tracking, and monthly financial closures.

2. Review and process payments while ensuring compliance with policies.

3. Manage cash flow, including forecasts, withdrawals, and reconciliations.

4. Handle tax-related matters such as income tax and social security regulations.

Administrative Tasks

1. Supervise office maintenance, including cleaners and cooks.

2. Ensure proper archiving of financial and HR documents for audits.

3. Act as a liaison between local and expatriate staff for administrative issues.

Data Protection and Reporting

1. Safeguard sensitive data, ensuring compliance with privacy standards.

2. Prepare monthly and quarterly reports for managers and donors.
