Key Responsibilities
As an Import Executive – P1 at Haier, you will play a crucial role in managing import operations and ensuring smooth customs clearance processes. Below are the primary responsibilities:
1. Documentation and Quota Issuance
Prepare technical and documentary details for submission to IOCO Customs for quota issuance.
Coordinate with the factory to confirm input/output and wastage ratios.
Arrange surveys by customs officials to determine input/output ratios.
2. Customs Coordination
Frequently visit the IOCO Customs office for quota approval.
Verify empty container receipts and detention invoices to resolve discrepancies.
Ensure accurate empty return dates are matched with detention invoices and EIR.
3. Claims and Reporting
Prepare claims for demurrage or detention charges caused by vendors.
Analyze and prepare landed factors, demurrage/detention provisions, and green channel clearance reports.
Conduct import analysis for the home appliances industry.
4. Post-Clearance Cases
Responsible for closing post-clearance cases efficiently.
Perform any additional tasks assigned by the Head of Department (HOD).
