They are currently seeking a dynamic, self-motivated, and results-oriented individual to join their team as a Junior Officer / Associate Engineer (Electrical/Electronics) – Solar.

This role is based at the Maple Leaf Cement Plant Site in Iskanderabad, District Mianwali, and offers an excellent opportunity to work in a challenging environment where you can make a significant impact.

Qualifications and Experience

The ideal candidate should have the following qualifications and experience:

  • Education: Diploma of Associate Engineering (DAE) in Electrical/Electronics.
  • Experience: 5-8 years of hands-on experience as a solar technician in large-scale solar plants, particularly those with a capacity of 5MW or more.
  • Technical Skills:
    • Strong knowledge of operation, maintenance, and installation of solar PV systems, electrical systems, and relevant safety protocols.
    • Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and schematics.
    • Proficiency in troubleshooting and resolving issues related to solar systems and components.
    • Experience in monitoring key parameters through SCADA systems.
  • Soft Skills:
    • Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
    • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
    • Comfortable working at heights and in various weather conditions.

Key Responsibilities

As a Junior Officer / Associate Engineer (Electrical/Electronics) – Solar, your responsibilities will include:

  • Installation and Maintenance: Install, maintain, and repair solar PV systems, including panels, inverters, and other related equipment.
  • Troubleshooting: Identify and resolve issues related to solar systems and components to ensure uninterrupted operation.
  • Monitoring: Oversee the performance of solar systems by monitoring key parameters through SCADA systems and making necessary adjustments.
  • Routine Maintenance: Conduct routine maintenance checks and perform required repairs or upgrades to maintain optimal system performance.
  • Documentation: Maintain accurate records of installations, maintenance activities, and repairs.
  • Collaboration: Work closely with other team members and contractors to ensure reliable plant operation.
  • Continuous Learning: Stay updated with the latest advancements in solar technology and industry best practices to apply the most efficient and effective methods.
