Located at the Maple Leaf Cement Plant Site in Iskanderabad, District Mianwali, Punjab, this dynamic company is now looking for a highly skilled and experienced Junior Officer / Associate Engineer (Electrical/Electronics) with expertise in Wartsila engines.

This position offers an exciting opportunity to contribute to the company’s ongoing success and play a crucial role in its engineering department.

Key Responsibilities

  • Diagnosing and Troubleshooting: Address and resolve electrical issues related to Wartsila Dual Fuel/HFO engines and related systems. This includes identifying faults and implementing effective solutions to maintain uninterrupted operations.
  • Routine Maintenance and Overhauling: Conduct routine maintenance and major overhauling of field instruments and MV generators. This involves performing inspections, preventive maintenance, and necessary repairs to ensure the optimal performance of electrical and control systems.
  • Reading and Interpreting Schematics: Accurately read and interpret electrical schematics, diagrams, and technical manuals. This skill is essential for diagnosing issues, conducting repairs, and performing installations.
  • Safety Compliance: Ensure that all work is carried out in accordance with relevant safety standards and regulations. This includes adhering to company policies, industry best practices, and safety protocols to minimize risks and ensure a safe working environment.
  • Collaboration: Work closely with other team members and departments to ensure seamless operation of the plant. Effective communication and teamwork are crucial for maintaining the plant’s efficiency and reliability.
  • Documentation: Keep accurate records of work performed, including repairs, maintenance activities, and any modifications made to the systems. This documentation is essential for tracking performance, planning future maintenance, and ensuring compliance with industry standards.

Qualifications and Skills

The successful candidate must possess the following qualifications and skills:

  • Education: Diploma of Associate Engineering (DAE) in Electrical/Electronics.
  • Experience: 8-12 years of experience with Wartsila engines (18V50DF, 18V50F), with hands-on experience in major overhauling, calibration, and testing.
  • Technical Proficiency: Strong understanding of MV generators, feeders protection, metering systems, and the ability to read and interpret technical documentation.
  • Problem-Solving: Excellent problem-solving skills with a keen attention to detail.
  • Communication: Strong communication and interpersonal skills, essential for effective teamwork and collaboration.
