Job Description

The Sports, Tourism, Archaeology, Museum & Youth Affairs Department is looking for a qualified Architect to join their team. This position offers a unique opportunity to work on diverse projects that contribute to the development and preservation of Pakistan’s cultural and sports heritage.

Qualification

  • At least Second-Class Bachelor’s Degree in Architecture or an equivalent qualification from a recognized university.
  • Valid registration with the Pakistan Council of Architecture and Town Planners.

Job Duties

As an Architect in this department, you will have various responsibilities, including:

Design and Planning

  • Develop architectural plans and designs for new sports facilities, museums, and tourism-related structures.
  • Ensure that all designs meet the required standards and regulations.
  • Work on restoration and preservation projects for archaeological sites.

Project Management

  • Oversee the construction process to ensure projects are completed on time and within budget.
  • Coordinate with contractors, engineers, and other stakeholders.
  • Monitor project progress and resolve any issues that arise.

Collaboration and Coordination

  • Work closely with other departments to ensure designs align with the overall goals of the Sports, Tourism, Archaeology, Museum & Youth Affairs Department.
  • Participate in meetings and provide updates on project status.
  • Liaise with local communities and authorities to ensure project success.

Sustainable Design

  • Incorporate sustainable and eco-friendly practices in architectural designs.
  • Ensure projects minimize environmental impact and promote sustainability.
