Qualification Requirements
To qualify for the Forest Ranger position, candidates must meet the following criteria:
Educational Background:
- Male candidates should hold a BSc/BS (4-year) degree in Forestry from a recognized university or institute.
- For nominees from Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Public Service Commission with a degree from universities other than PFI, specialized training of one year at PFI is mandatory.
Physical and Mental Fitness: Candidates must obtain a certificate from the Standing Medical Board at Peshawar, confirming physical and mental fitness for the role.
Service Bond: Selected candidates will need to sign a bond with the Forest Department to serve for at least five years after successful completion of training. In case of default, all expenses incurred for training and education must be refunded.
