Qualification:

At least Second Class Master’s or BS (Hons Four Years) Degree in Economics, Business Administration, Public Administration, or an equivalent qualification from a recognized university.

Six months certificate in Advance Office Automation from a recognized institute.

Key Responsibilities

As a Planning Officer, you will be responsible for various tasks that ensure the effective planning and execution of projects within the department. Your duties will include:

  • Project Planning and Management: Develop comprehensive plans for projects related to sports, tourism, archaeology, museums, and youth affairs. Ensure that all projects are completed on time, within budget, and to the required standard.
  • Data Analysis and Reporting: Collect, analyze, and interpret data to inform project planning and decision-making. Prepare detailed reports and presentations for senior management.
  • Coordination and Collaboration: Work closely with other departments, stakeholders, and external partners to ensure the successful implementation of projects. Facilitate communication and collaboration to achieve project goals.
  • Budget Management: Monitor project budgets, ensuring efficient use of resources and adherence to financial guidelines. Identify and address any financial discrepancies or issues.
  • Policy Development: Assist in the development and implementation of policies and procedures related to the department’s activities. Ensure compliance with relevant regulations and standards.
