Title: Emerging Technologies Lab Director

Key Responsibilities
1. Administering and governing national/international communication and information security projects.
2. Leading research and development teams in innovative quantum-related projects.
3. Identifying infrastructure requirements, including tools, personnel, and instrumentation, for research and deployment in Quantum Technologies.
4. Aligning the lab’s objectives with national and global standards like NIST publications.
5. Building collaborative networks with academia, industry, and government bodies to advance research outcomes.
Required Qualifications and Experience
Education
Candidates must hold a PhD, MS, or MPhil degree (18 years of education) in a relevant discipline, such as:
1. Physics
2. Electronics
3. System Engineering
4. Electrical Engineering
5. Cyber Security
6. Telecommunication Engineering
Specialization in one or more of the following is essential:
1. Quantum Communication
2. Quantum Computing
3. Photonics
4. Quantum Cryptography
Experience
1. 15 years of total experience in relevant fields.
2. At least 7 years of experience in managing public or private sector communication/information security projects.
3. A minimum of 5 years of experience as a lead researcher or team leader in R&D or deployment projects, preferably in Quantum Technologies.
Skills
1. Practical knowledge in Quantum Networks, Quantum Random Number Generation, or related areas.
2. Ability to strategize and implement large-scale research initiatives.
