Age Limit

1. Male Candidates: 24 to 32 years + 5 years relaxation = Maximum 37 years

2. Female Candidates: 24 to 32 years + 8 years relaxation = Maximum 40 years

Domicile Requirement

Candidates from any district in Punjab can apply.

Educational Qualification

1. LL.M from a Higher Education Commission (HEC) recognized university and must be registered as an Advocate with the Punjab Bar Council.

OR

2. LL.B from an HEC-recognized university with two years of experience as an Advocate.

Experience Requirements

1. Candidates must have Bar Council membership on or before the closing date.

2. Experience certificate must be issued by the President of the District Bar Association or Sub-Divisional Bar Association, duly countersigned by the District and Sessions Judge/Additional District & Session Judge.

Job Responsibilities of a Law Officer

1. Providing legal support to the department on drug-related laws and regulations.

2. Drafting legal documents, contracts, and policies related to drug control and healthcare regulations.

3. Representing the department in legal proceedings and court cases.

4. Ensuring compliance with drug laws, rules, and regulations.

5. Assisting in investigations related to illegal drug distribution and violations.

6. Coordinating with law enforcement agencies to take action against non-compliant businesses.

Selection Process & Test Details

1. A one-paper MCQ-type written test will be conducted.

2. Total Marks: 100

3. Duration: 90 minutes

4. Test Syllabus: 100% qualification-related questions
