Job Responsibilities

The Learning & Development Manager will be responsible for leading the company’s efforts to design, implement, and manage learning programs. You will play a key role in ensuring that our employees develop the skills and knowledge they need to succeed. Below are the key responsibilities:

1. Learning and Development Methods

As an L&D Manager, you will design and implement effective learning and development strategies that meet the needs of our employees. You will stay updated on the latest trends in learning techniques and adapt them to create engaging programs.

2. E-Learning Platforms and Practices

Lead the adoption and management of e-learning platforms that allow employees to access training materials anytime, anywhere. Your expertise in e-learning tools will ensure that employees can benefit from modern, flexible learning options.

3. Training Needs Analysis

Conduct training needs assessments to identify skill gaps within the organization. Work closely with department heads and employees to ensure training programs are aligned with both individual and organizational needs.

4. Program Design and Development

Develop and deliver learning programs that are relevant, engaging, and designed to improve performance. These programs will cover a range of skills, from technical to leadership development.

5. Performance Assessment

Evaluate the effectiveness of training programs by measuring performance improvements. Use metrics and feedback to refine and optimize the learning process, ensuring programs deliver tangible results.

6. Vendor Management

Manage relationships with external vendors who provide learning and development resources. You will ensure that these partnerships deliver value to the company and align with our learning objectives.

7. DEI (Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion) Principles

Incorporate DEI principles into all learning and development programs to promote an inclusive workplace where all employees feel valued and empowered to succeed.

8. Succession Planning and Career Ladder Development

Work with leadership to identify high-potential employees and create succession plans. You will help employees map out their career development paths and ensure they are prepared for future leadership roles.

Skills and Qualifications

The ideal candidate for the Learning & Development Manager role will have a combination of education, experience, and skills that enable them to excel in this leadership position. Here are the key qualifications and skills:

1. Educational Background

A BSc/BA in Business, Computer Science, Education, or a related field is required. Professional certifications in learning and development (such as CPLP, SHRM-SCP) will be an added advantage.

2. Experience

At least 3+ years of experience in a similar role (L&D Manager, Training Manager, or similar) is required. The ideal candidate will have proven experience in designing and implementing learning programs and working with e-learning platforms.

3. Strong Skills in Project Management and Budgeting

You should be proficient in project management and budgeting to ensure that learning programs are executed on time and within budget.

4. Communication and Negotiation
