As a Maintenance Engineer, you will be responsible for ensuring the smooth operation and maintenance of machinery and equipment within the sugar mill. This role requires a deep understanding of mechanical technology and a specific focus on boiler maintenance.

With over 12 years of experience in the sugar industry, including at least 2-3 years as a Boiler Maintenance Engineer, you will bring a wealth of knowledge and expertise to this position.

Key Responsibilities

• Boiler Maintenance:
  • Oversee the maintenance and repair of boilers to ensure they are operating efficiently and safely.
  • Conduct regular inspections and preventive maintenance to identify and address potential issues before they lead to downtime.
  • Ensure compliance with industry standards and safety regulations during all maintenance activities.
• Equipment Maintenance:
  • Supervise the maintenance of all mechanical equipment within the sugar mill, ensuring optimal performance and minimal downtime.
  • Develop and implement maintenance schedules and procedures to enhance equipment reliability.
• Troubleshooting:
  • Diagnose and resolve mechanical issues quickly and effectively to minimize production disruptions.
  • Collaborate with other departments to address any mechanical challenges that may arise.
• Team Collaboration:
  • Work closely with the maintenance team and other departments to ensure smooth operations.
  • Provide guidance and training to junior staff members on best practices in maintenance and safety.

Qualifications and Skills

• Educational Requirements:
  • Minimum DAE in Mechanical Technology.
  • B-Class Boiler Competency Certificate (Punjab).
• Experience:
  • A minimum of 12 years of experience in the sugar industry, with 2-3 years specifically as a Boiler Maintenance Engineer.
  • Proven experience in boiler maintenance is essential.
• Skills:
  • Strong mechanical skills with a focus on boiler systems.
  • Excellent problem-solving abilities.
