About the Finance & Accounts Department

Job Responsibilities of Manager Finance & Accounts

Financial Management & Accounting

1. Managing the financial planning, budgeting, and forecasting for the organization.

2. Ensuring compliance with International Financial Reporting Standards (IFRS).

3. Supervising financial audits and internal controls.

4. Ensuring the organization’s financial records are accurate and up-to-date.

Risk Management & Compliance

1. Assessing financial risks and developing strategies to mitigate them.

2. Ensuring compliance with federal and provincial tax regulations.

3. Overseeing adherence to banking regulations and corporate governance.

4. Ensuring compliance with the Companies Ordinance 1984.

Business Development & Strategic Growth

1. Contributing to business development strategies and financial sustainability.

2. Establishing strong relationships with PR, digital, and creative agencies.

3. Leading financial initiatives to enhance revenue generation.

Use of Financial Software & ERP Systems

1. Implementing ERP financial systems for better financial management.

Required Qualifications & Experience

Education Requirements

1. A Master’s degree in Finance, Accounts, Commerce, or a related field from an HEC-recognized university.

Experience

1. A minimum of 10 years of experience in finance and accounting.

2. At least 2 years of experience in a managerial role.

Technical Knowledge & Skills

1. Strong knowledge of IFRS and IAS.

2. Understanding of risk assessment and management.

3. Familiarity with TVET sector dynamics and trends.

4. Practical knowledge of audit standards and internal controls.

5. Experience with ERP financial systems.

6. Knowledge of business development strategies.
