What is the Role of a Monitoring Department?
The Monitoring Department at PSDF ensures that all training programs are delivered as planned. It tracks the progress of programs, checks quality, verifies reports from third parties, and provides feedback for improvements. This department also ensures transparency, accountability, and impact in every project PSDF runs.
Key Responsibilities of a Manager Monitoring
Building and Managing Relationships
1. Develop strong working relationships with external partners such as:
2. Training Service Providers (TSPs)
3. Third-party Monitoring Firms
4. Third-party Stipend Disbursement Agencies
5. Donors and Trainees
6. Collaborate with internal departments to ensure smooth operations and effective project delivery.
Monitoring & Evaluation Duties
1. Monitor the implementation of training programs funded by national or international donors.
2. Evaluate the effectiveness and impact of skill development projects.
3. Identify issues and provide solutions for better project performance.
4. Ensure all activities are aligned with PSDF’s goals and donor requirements.
Reporting and Decision-Making
1. Use data to make informed decisions.
2. Analyze project reports and share insights with senior management.
3. Recommend improvements based on findings and feedback.
Required Qualifications and Skills
Education
1. Master’s or 16 years of education in:
2. Business Administration
3. Management Sciences
4. Social Sciences
5. Data Sciences
6. Or any related field from an HEC-recognized university
Experience
1. Minimum 5 to 8 years of relevant experience
2. Preference will be given to candidates with experience in monitoring and evaluation of donor-funded projects
