Job Description

Sargodha Waste Management Company (SWMC) is looking for a skilled and experienced Manager Procurement & Contracts (M-7) to join its team in Sargodha, Pakistan.

This is a full-time position requiring professionals with expertise in procurement, contract management, and public sector regulations. The selected candidate will play a key role in ensuring the efficient procurement of goods and services for the organization.

Job Responsibilities

1. Procurement Strategy & Process Management

Developing and implementing procurement strategies for the company.

Managing the entire procurement process, including sourcing, negotiation, and contract management.

2. Public Sector Compliance

Ensuring compliance with Punjab Public Procurement Regulatory Authority (PPRA) and EPADS regulations.

Managing procurement according to government policies and guidelines.

3. Supplier & Contract Management

Evaluating and selecting suppliers based on quality and cost-effectiveness.

Negotiating contracts to ensure the best value for the company.

Monitoring supplier performance and maintaining strong business relationships.

4. Cost Efficiency & Process Improvement

Identifying cost-saving opportunities in procurement processes.

Implementing best practices to enhance efficiency in procurement and contract management.

5. Inventory & Records Management

Managing procurement records and ensuring transparency in purchasing decisions.

Overseeing inventory management to prevent shortages and wastage.

6. Stakeholder Collaboration

Coordinating with internal departments to understand their procurement needs.

Providing training and support on procurement policies and best practices.

Required Qualifications & Experience

Education

A Master’s degree or Bachelor’s degree (16 years of education) in:

Civil Engineering

Business Administration

Public Administration

Supply Chain Management

(Degree must be from an HEC-recognized university.)

Experience

At least five (05) years of experience in procurement in well-established public or private organizations.

Three (03) years of experience in the public sector handling procurement under PPRA/EPADS regulations.
