The Forestry, Wildlife and Fisheries Department Punjab is offering an exciting career opportunity for qualified individuals. The position of Sub Divisional Forest Officer (BS-17) is available with 25 vacancies, including open merit, minority quota, and women quota. This role is crucial for the management and conservation of Punjab’s natural resources.

Educational Qualifications
- Master’s Degree: A Master’s degree in Forestry with a Second Division or a minimum CGPA of 2.75 from a university recognized by the Higher Education Commission (HEC).
- Pre-Service Training: Successful completion of one year pre-service training as stipendiary candidates from the Forest Services Academy.
Age Limit
- Male Candidates: 21 to 33 Years (with a 5-year relaxation)
- Female Candidates: 21 to 36 Years (with an 8-year relaxation)
- Transgender Candidates: Age and sex as per the contents of their CNIC

Key Responsibilities
- Forest Management: Overseeing and implementing forest management plans to ensure sustainable use and conservation of forest resources.
- Wildlife Protection: Protecting wildlife and their habitats, preventing illegal hunting and poaching activities.
- Fisheries Management: Managing and conserving fisheries resources to maintain ecological balance.
- Enforcement: Ensuring compliance with environmental laws and regulations related to forestry, wildlife, and fisheries.
- Public Awareness: Educating the public about environmental conservation and the importance of protecting natural resources.
