Job Description

Are you an experienced IT professional looking for a rewarding opportunity? The Irrigation Department Punjab is seeking qualified candidates for the position of System Network Administrator. Qualifications and Experience

To be eligible for this role, candidates must meet the following criteria:

Educational Qualification:

  • A Master’s degree (second division) in Computer Science or Information Technology
  • OR BCS (four years) (second division) in Computer Science
  • OR BS (second division) in Computer Systems Engineering, Computer Engineering, or Software Engineering from a recognized institute or university.

Experience:

  • Four years of post-qualification experience in planning, designing, building, and implementing network infrastructure solutions from a public or private sector organization.
  • Practical experience gained after obtaining the prescribed qualification will be considered.
  • Experience in private entities is acceptable if the entity is registered with SECP, Registrar of Firms, or any other regulatory authority.

Age Limit:

  • Male: 25 to 50 years
  • Female: 25 to 53 years
  • Transgender: Age and sex will be based on the contents of their CNIC.

Roles and Responsibilities

As a System Network Administrator, your primary duties will include:

  • Network Design and Implementation: Plan, design, and build network infrastructure to support the department’s IT needs.
  • Maintenance and Troubleshooting: Ensure the smooth operation of network systems, address any technical issues, and perform regular maintenance tasks.
  • Security Management: Implement security protocols to protect the network from potential threats and breaches.
  • User Support: Provide technical support to users, resolving network-related issues and ensuring optimal performance.
  • Documentation and Reporting: Maintain detailed documentation of network configurations, changes, and issues. Prepare reports on network performance and issues.
